McALLEN, TEXAS, JAN. 27-29, 2017 — The Payne Auto Group Street Team participated in the 5th annual McAllen CarFest. The event took place the weekend of Jan. 27-29 at the McAllen Convention Center. The Auto Group showcased vehicles from their Alfa Romeo FIAT line during the event.

Payne Auto Group is one of McAllen CarFest’s biggest sponsors. Other local sponsors included businesses such as Nothing Bundt Cakes. Attendees participated in a number of activities that aimed to highlight classic and current vehicles from collectors across the nation.
Rio Grande Valley citizens were invited to the event to observe, and judge the vehicles for a number of categories. These included Children’s Choice, Parent’s Choice, and Community Favorite.
A raffle was also hosted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation in which attendees could purchase $5 tickets for the chance to win a rebuilt Dodge Dart from the 60’s.
