Congratulations to our Scholarship winners!
Rio Grande Valley high school graduates rallied at Payne Weslaco Ford for the 2018 Payne Scholarship Challenge awards.
The scholarship challenge asked students to film their own versions of the Payne’s advertisements.
Additionally, members of the marketing team chose each candidate based on the innovation, and originality of their submissions.
“This scholarship gives these students the opportunity to embrace their own creativity,” said Donna Shawhan, Creative Director for the Payne Auto Group. “It’s also an incentive that rewards their drive and ambition.”
Mark and Austin Payne were on hand to congratulate the winners on their accomplishments. Certificates marking the student’s achievements were passed out. Furthermore, the students and their parents were treated to pizza, and other refreshments.
