On Saturday, October 19 at the Valley Race Pack in Harlingen, Texas, Goodwill Industries of South Texas hosted their 6th Annual Goodwill Cookoff, presented by Payne Auto Group.
The fundraising cookoff is sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers Association (IBCA) and draws BBQ enthusiasts from all across Texas to show their BBQ talent in chicken, ribs, beans, brisket, and pan de campo. Entertainment was provided by Payne Street Team’s Chris Marshall and Kikker Daddy Legacy.
Proceeds from the cookoff event go towards the Goodwill Mission, which offers free job training, digital skills training, and employment placement programs for people with disabilities.
