C.A.M.P. University held it’s 9th annual A Night at the Races gala at the McAllen Convention Center on Tuesday, May 9.

A Night at the Races is a Kentucky Derby-themed gala where guests are encouraged to dress as if they were attending the Kentucky Derby. Guests were treated to music by Payne Street Team’s Chris Marshall in the lobby where guests could sign up for auction items and bucket raffles–all proceeds funneled towards the C.A.M.P. University program and updating their facilities.

In the ballroom, guests were treated to signature cocktails, wine, and a delicious dinner. Horse races were showcased on the screen and guests were encouraged to place bets on horses. The evening ended with a live auction and the bucket raffle winners.

C.A.M.P. University has been serving the community since its establishment in 2007 to provide “worthwhile activities for high school graduates that have been in special education.
