PDR technicians use a variety of rods, body picks, and light/reflection boards to identify striations in the vehicle’s body. The PDR technicians then use the tools to gently push out the dent.
PDR works on a variety of metals, including aluminum. Steel bodies will often be easier to work on due to their “metal memory.” Aluminum bodies can still benefit from PDR though it might take a bit longer and may require different tools.
