The first section will be a summary. This is a broad summary of information on the homeowner’s policy you bought. Information under the summary section can include:

- Policy number

- Premium
Coverages & Deductibles
This section shows what physical things and structures will be covered under the policy. Any deductible amount will be listed too, such as how much the homeowner will pay after filing a claim.
Here are a few common coverages listed in this section:
- Dwelling: house and attached structures
- Other structures: unattached structures (fences, shed)
- Personal belongings
- Personal liability
- Medical payments to others
Optional Coverage & Endorsements
This section will include any additional coverage added to the policy for additional fee. Here are a few common add-on coverages:
- Extended replacement cost
- Sewer backup coverage
- Earthquake coverage

Finally at the end of the declarations page will be any discounts that homeowner’s qualify for. A few common discounts can include:
