Communities all over the country are coming together in the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. Payne Auto Group is proud to join forces with several local organizations, as well as Rio Grande Valley citizens, to help those affected by this natural disaster.
When Payne put out the call for donations, the community answered. And they came through strong.
Together with the donations of many Rio Grande Valley residents, Operation Texas Strong is helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The supply drive has contributed countless bottles of water and other items to families throughout the Coastal Bend area. However, our work is far from over.
Three flatbeds, five pickup loads and one Craig’s Furniture truck full of supplies have been delivered to residents of Aransas Pass, Taft, Robstown and Corpus Christi. Each item donated is one step closer to rebuilding these communities.
Please continue to donate items to your local Payne Auto dealerships. We’ll be making several more trips to the area to distribute supplies over the next two weeks.
Members of our crew even cooked a big Texas BBQ for residents over the weekend. All of this is done to lift the spirits of those affected by the worst natural disaster to hit Texas in more than a decade.
