National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

National Night Out was introduced in August 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch Inc. The event involved 2.5 million across 400 communities in 23 states.

In the almost 40 years since its inception, National Night Out has become a nation-wide celebration of first responders throughout the United States.

“National Night Out triumphs over a culture that isolates us from each other and allows us to rediscover our own communities.”
Kay Bailey Hutchison, Senator

This year, Payne Auto Group with Payne Rio Grande City Ford attended National Night Out in Roma, Texas.

This free event consisted of first responders from Rio Grande City and Roma attending to meet their community, free food, music, games, and great learning opportunities.

The Payne Street Team was in attendance as well handing out official Payne Auto Group coloring books and service coupons.

Payne Auto Group is proud to be a part of this community and we look forward to next year’s National Night Out!
