Citizens across the Rio Grande Valley flooded the Payne Auto Group Rodeo Arena Saturday night for the National Professional Bull Riding competition.

The Mercedes Livestock Showgrounds held the two-day event which the Payne Auto Group helped sponsor.  The NPBR saw contestants compete in the “longest 8 seconds” in sports. Vendors covered the show grounds as the audience of all ages were welcomed to their seats.

The Payne Auto Group Street Team was on hand to share information on several vehicles such as the 2017 Ford F-250 SuperDuty. The dealerships mascot, Bimmy, appeared as well to take photos with attendees.

Live music was provided by Chris Marshall on Saturday before the event kicked off.

“This is probably one of the most fun events I get to do,” said Chris Marshall. “The crowds fantastic, and the energy you feel before the bullriding kicks off is just electrifying.”
