On November 3, 2018, Payne Street Team’s Chris Marshall attended Cocktails for a Cause. This event took place in Harlingen, Texas and was a benefit for the Junior League of Harlingen (JLH).
According to the JLH Facebook page, “The Junior League of Harlingen, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.”
Business owners, sponsors, and prominent community members attended to support the JLH’s cause for raising proceeds for community programming. Attendees enjoyed a fashion show, silent auction, music, raffles and, of course, cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres.
Payne Street Team’s Chris Marshall raised $4,000 for the JLH’s community programming fund. Payne Auto Group is proud to help support the community. A big thank you goes out to the Junior League of Harlingen for having the Payne Street Team a part of this charitable cause, and we hope to continue to be of assistance to our community members.
