The United States Border Patrol Rio Grande Valley sector has presented the “Head of the Class’ educational program to all high schools in the RGV.
This award recognizes senior students from all high schools across the Rio Grande Valley who have been nominated by their counselors. As an extension of the “Head of the Class” award, nominees will then be selected to win a “Youth of the Year” scholarship to the college of their choice.
The RGV Sector Border Patrol has awarded over $67,500.00 in “Youth of the Year” scholarships since 2010!
